Is it okay to test-drive someone prior relationship? A perspective on relationship.

By - Abhudai Pal    “Main Toh Test Drive Kiye Bina Gaddi Bhi Na Kharidu.”   A dialogue of the movie Veere Di Wedding The above sentence translates as “I will never buy a car without a test drive.” This is worthy advice for a potential car buyer. However, the context of the above advice is not related to the car market. The above advice is in the context of relationships. Therefore according to the speaker, before getting into a relationship with anyone, you should take a  “test-drive”  of your potential partner. However, how to conduct the test drive  while choosing the mate is unclear? Pic credit unsplash.com I agree with the speaker that “test-drive” is important, in context of the car markets. However, if this advice is applied to relationships without proper understanding of the "test-drive," I have apprehensions. If test-drive means to evaluate “the partner performance in bed,” prior commitment.  It indicates that sex is the sole reason to get committed. This

Architect of India's Constitution. His contributions and return gift from India

By - Abhudai Pal Today, 14 th April 2021 is the 130 th birthday of Architect of India’s constitution Bharat Ratna Bhim Rao Ramji Ambedkar lovingly known as Babasaheb. Before telling you about the immense contribution of Babasaheb. I have a small incidence from my childhood. I was in the 7 th standard, it was 14 th April. A carpenter who was making furniture at my home asked me. “Today, you will lighten Dias? "  “No”. I said Then he asked, who are you? I sensed his intention behind the question.   “I am a human” I replied with a deliberate innocent face.  Then he understood that he won’t get to know the “thing” which he was interested in. Since then I always wondered why only a few houses lighten Dias on Babasaheb Birthday. Why my house doesn't celebrate this day? Was he just a man of few? And being the most learned man of pre-independent India. Doesn't his contributions belong to every Indian? CHILDHOOD OF ARCHITECT OF INDIA's CONSTITUTION The architect of Indi

The cost of being apolitical. Can you afford to be apolitical in a democracy?

By - Abhudai Pal   "I hate politics. All politicians are the same. What I want is peaceful life free of politics."  The above words are of a privileged Indian youth who don’t like politics. Privileged because of the ceiling over his head and meal on time more than two times a day. Another privileged is his “cellular data pack.”  The only thing which worries India’s youth is the exhaustion of 1.5/2 GB of his daily data pack. He should be. After all, the lack of data might make him data malnourished. Without it, the person's ability to rant on social media is nil. Actually, guys/girls of this ilk are awesome. They want a peaceful life but do not know how peace is maintained in society? Or they are ignorant to acknowledge it.  Well, I won’t discuss politics here. However,  I desperately want to ask  certain questions to the apolitical youth of India .  Do you want clean air to breathe?  Are you against women-related crimes like Rape, Eve-teasing, sexual harassment, domestic

We will decide whom you love. Love is an order not Choice - India's Valentines Day!

Image
By - Abhudai Pal   “Let us celebrate 14th Feb, Valentine’s Day as Matra-Pitra Poojan Diwas.” The above words were written on a banner hung near the most crowded place in Kanpur. The organization, which hung this banner was influential. However, I assure you that you will laugh hard when you know the organization's head's name.  Since then, I am intrigued by the mindset of such ultra-progressive thoughts. What threat does Valentine pose for parents?  That it needs to be celebrated as Matra-Pitra Poojan Diwas.   Moreover, if these guys are so respectful of their parents, they can celebrate it whenever they want. To make the occasion more auspicious, they must consult with astrologers to reap paranormal dividends too.  But my friend, you must understand that their intention is not to respect parents. They want you to be trapped in the garb of culture, which they can’t even justify because of the simple reason that they do not understand the culture. They are hooligans whose abilit

The crucial Issue of 21st century solved and thats the reason of my infinite happiness !

By - Abhudai Pal  I am amazed that instead of amaze. I would love to use flabbergasted. So, I restate with ultra rigor, vigor, and exhilaration that;  I am flabbergasted.   Do you want to know the reason for my flabbergast? No, no, you are utterly wrong if you think that I have found the love of my life.  I am flabbergasted because the culture saving decision has been taken. The UP Govt under the leadership of my favorite leader Yogi Adityanath has passed an ordinance. The summary of the ordinance is “No More Love Jihad.” If you don’t know what Love Jihad is? Then let me tell you, my friend. It’s a farce manufactured in the laboratories of Hindutva supporters!  This is what leftists tell you.  But you had to Believe me that Love Jihad is a conspiracy against Hindu women. The good looking, macho Muslim men cajole, manipulate and trap Hindu women in the name of love.  Once an innocent woman fell into the trap, they made her pregnant, and when she wants to marry the guy, the Muslim men

This Diwali Our Efforts Has Failed Us As A Human Being

By - Aayushi Mishra  My curiosity to get a genuine answer to a question is bothering me day and night. I have failed to find a convincing answer myself, thus after mustering a lot of courage, I want to know your stand.  Was it impossible to avoid using fireworks on Diwali this year? The virus has affected each one of us irrespective of our religion or culture. This pandemic has destroyed the world's economies leading to the untimely demise of more than a million people worldwide .  Considering the havoc wreaked by the Pandemic. This year should have been about our collective strengths to tackle the intruder.  But from somewhere, the argument of bursting crackers and religion are linked. The people who call for a boycott of crackers are projected as “Dharm-Virodhi” (Anti-Religion). To those, I would like to ask.  Can't you think and act like a human being, at least for a day?  Can't you and I be together on a crucial issue for a day?  Can't we think of others as our fami

Your parents can kill you!! The mistake India's youth should never-ever dare to commit.

By - Abhudai Pal  “Ek Tha Raja, Ek Thi Rani, Dono Mar Gaye Khatm Kahani,” Said Kizzie Basu in the movie “Dil Bechara”.   Kizzie Basu  I disagree with Kizzie. Because, In India, that's not how love stories end. The endings are , “Ek Tha Raja, Ek Thi Rani, Dono Ki Caste/Religion Different The, Parents Ne Mar Kar, Khatm Kar Di Kahani”.  NCRB and National Topper   The National Crime Record Bureau (NCRB) reported that in 2014, 2015, and 2016, the cases of honor killing were 28, 251, and 77 respectively. From 2014 to 2015, the honor killing risen by 796%.  What do you think, which state tops in this shameful category of killing his own child because he/she wants to marry/married a person of his/her choice? Uttar Pradesh topped here .     Parent Consent and Honor Killing  I do think that a parent consent should be taken before marrying. Either they will agree or disagree. But you should deliberately bring your parents on board while marrying your love and convince them. They might w
