Dear Bapu,  Namaste.  Last year on your 150th birth anniversary, I wrote you a letter. I understand that you are busy, but a year had passed and your birthday has arrived. I want you to tell you that the circumstances have changed a lot since your last birthday.  Mr. Gandhi leader of the masses Today on your 151st Birth anniversary. I wanted to wish you but I won’t because you might be disheartened as well as surprised what some people have done to your society.    DALITS AND JUSTICE Bapu, whom you called Harijans or the “people of GOD”, their condition is dismal. The system is attacking and depriving them of their right to justice. Recently, In Hathras, a girl named Manisha Valmiki was allegedly raped, her tongue was cut and, neck bones were broken. She fought hard for 14 days but unfortunately, she died. She was not raped just once, but twice. First, the criminals belonging to the upper caste raped her. I wonder whether they were religious or spiritual?  Meditating Buddha (Pic credit - Unsplash.com) Contemplating a lot, I arrived at the conclusion that calling them religious, isn’t justified. As their wisdom is for the entire mankind, irrespective of a person’s caste, creed, color, religion, race, mother tongue, and place of birth. The wisdom, they showered, is mentioned in various religious texts, in different forms.  What has changed with wisdom is word/medium/language, in which it is explained. What remains constant is the message of love towards fellow human beings, compassion for animals, be more giving, be helpful, finding your ultimate truth, etc. None of them were intolerant, irresolute, lethargic, irrational or unconvinced, about their outlook of the world, and their own life. They promoted love for all, and forgiveness for enemies.

By - Abhudai Pal  Frustrated! Confused!! Anxious!!! Worried!! Depressed! If your life situation matches one or more than one word mentioned above. Then, Ladies/Gentleman, you aren’t alone in your battle against them.  Sometimes the intensity of frustration, confusion, and worry amplifies, thus affecting your productivity. The turbulence of emotions cripples your behavior and makes you numb. Everyone goes through tough times in his/her life irrespective of his socio-economic status.  If you were to ask me: Is there anything in this world which is the solution to all problems of life? I have to say Yes, there is.  Meditation – is the solution to all problems of your life.  What you are seeking now, in the 20th century, was discovered long ago by Lord Buddha and other religious practices in different forms.  Origin  of Meditation   Traces of Meditation are found in India. The Upanishad and Vedic text implied to meditation practices. Buddhism too devised a meditation known as “Vipassana”.

By - Abhudai Pal  Forgotten in a month from the limelight. Financially devastated. Legs are swollen. Not in a condition to walk but walked. Left to die on roads.  Starved.  Ill treated by the people who promised them of "Acche din". The situation described above is not of foreigners. They all are Indians when P.M. of India announced nationwide lockdown beginning from the midnight of  25th March 2020.  The worst-hit were makers of modern India. Unfortunately called, “ Migrant Workers”. I always think, how “non-inclusive” and “myopic” is the decision-maker who forgot the existence of about 139 million migrant workers in India. The problem is not with the decision-maker. The problem is that I am expecting an inclusive and rational decision from a person who is an unofficial Editor of every news organization (Both print and T.V). The keyword in Mr. Cook's quote is “FOCUS” Oxford Dictionary defines the Verb Focus as a means to give attention, effort, etc to one particular subject, situation, or person rather than another. Thus, it is wise to conclude that Focus is a vital factor in a person’s success. FOCUS AND STATISTICAL EVIDENCE But regarding focus, my findings do not assist me in reaching a meaningful and statistically significant conclusion. Because according to a report the human focus or attention ability has decreased but BBC contradicts such a claim.
