By - Abhudai Pal  Frustrated! Confused!! Anxious!!! Worried!! Depressed! If your life situation matches one or more than one word mentioned above. Then, Ladies/Gentleman, you aren’t alone in your battle against them.  Sometimes the intensity of frustration, confusion, and worry amplifies, thus affecting your productivity. The turbulence of emotions cripples your behavior and makes you numb. Everyone goes through tough times in his/her life irrespective of his socio-economic status.  If you were to ask me: Is there anything in this world which is the solution to all problems of life? I have to say Yes, there is.  Meditation – is the solution to all problems of your life.  What you are seeking now, in the 20th century, was discovered long ago by Lord Buddha and other religious practices in different forms.  Origin  of Meditation   Traces of Meditation are found in India. The Upanishad and Vedic text implied to meditation practices. Buddhism too devised a meditation known as “Vipassana”.

The journey from a Happy Relationship to Failed Relationship

By - Abhudai Pal   That hangout was like the other one’s, reminisces Navya.  On that hangout, Raj, her friend cum hangout guy surprised her.  He was in dilemma,  wasn’t initiating any conversation, and was pretty unusual that day. Recalls Navya All of sudden, the lights of the café were dim and romantic songs played in the background.   That day, Raj wasn’t speaking anything. He was replying in three words.  Okay, Done and cool!   And this appalled me then.  As the waiter was bringing orders and every order carries a note.  I cherish his way of proposing, he didn’t say a word but with every note brought by the waiter conveyed his messages.  Last one I still remember, “I know its weird, but proposing via writing is comfortable for me as I could not muster the courage to say anything”.  The silent, honest, and child-like efforts he made that day, were so cute, I couldn’t say NO to his proposal and made him my boyfriend-cum-fiance then and husband later. I wish I might have friend-zoned

The forgotten Indian's. I am sorry for everthing you have to go through.

By - Abhudai Pal  Forgotten in a month from the limelight. Financially devastated. Legs are swollen. Not in a condition to walk but walked. Left to die on roads.  Starved.  Ill treated by the people who promised them of "Acche din". The situation described above is not of foreigners. They all are Indians when P.M. of India announced nationwide lockdown beginning from the midnight of  25th March 2020.  The worst-hit were makers of modern India. Unfortunately called, “ Migrant Workers”. I always think, how “non-inclusive” and “myopic” is the decision-maker who forgot the existence of about 139 million migrant workers in India. The problem is not with the decision-maker. The problem is that I am expecting an inclusive and rational decision from a person who is an unofficial Editor of every news organization (Both print and T.V). That is a hectic job and then finding time to make an inclusive and rational decision is another tremendous work. If you think that, migration crisis

How Youth's Focus is linked with the Digital World

Image
By - Abhudai Pal    “I learned that focus is the key.  Not just in running a company but in your personal life as well.” Tim Cook   When C.E.O of one of the world's largest company “Apple”, says something, he must be heard and followed. The keyword in Mr. Cook's quote is “FOCUS” Oxford Dictionary defines the Verb Focus as a means to give attention, effort, etc to one particular subject, situation, or person rather than another. Thus, it is wise to conclude that Focus is a vital factor in a person’s success. FOCUS AND STATISTICAL EVIDENCE But regarding focus, my findings do not assist me in reaching a meaningful and statistically significant conclusion. Because according to a report the human focus or attention ability has decreased but BBC contradicts such a claim. On the other hand, a report suggests a positive relationship between the person screen time and his decreasing productivity. And it’s a known fact that, if you are spending time on a cellphone, chances that you a

Marriages in India and Radical feminists way to choose their partner

Image
By - Abhudai Pal Isn’t the youth of the 21st century, trying to balance social standards and romance, while finding their marriage partner? A college incidence from my life is helpful to understand the issue. In my college dramatics society , My teacher used to give us (a group of 4-5 students) a topic. Then we had to perform 2-3 minutes of play/improvisation after 10 minutes of preparation on that topic. That particular day the topic was  “The behavior of a husband, whose wife earns more than her”. We performed improvisation. In that short improvisation, I played the role of husband. I remember that my group kept the salary difference of 50k. In our short improvisation, we showed, how the husband refused to give money to his child and scolds him to get it from her mother as she earned more. When his parents asked him to buy medicines, he directed his parents to her wife to purchase medicines because she earns more than him. In that improvisation of 2-3 minutes, we showed the ego iss

Get some education- Vinamra Advice. A tale of a hyper-educated mind!

By - Abhudai Pal “Dude get some education”! This was the classic dialogue, Vinamra learned in his graduation years.  His journey to reach this dialogue is interesting. Since school days, he was outstanding in academics. A helping hand for everyone, teachers favorite and possessed all the qualities of an ideal student. He was having an average number of friends. Due to his academic meritocracy, he managed to pursue his graduation from “India’s Best College” which is located in one of India’s metropolitan cities. He worked hard in college and maintained a decent GPA. After completing his 1 st semester. He returned home and like everyone else. He too had lots of things to share with his family and friends. Everything was normal at this point.   But, Next semester when he returned home, he changed a lot. His jeans were faded, hairs spiky and his small earphones turned into headphones. The guy transformed his looks. He was never into the “looking good” business but college has transformed

How corona epidemic will affect the informal laborers market?

Image
By - Amit Kumar (Research Scholar at BML Munjal University ) Since the outbreak of corona virus, few questions, particularly in regard to the Indian economy kept bouncing in my head. Is the exodus of the informal laborers from the Industrial region temporary? Do our politicians of various states, empathetic enough to sense the pain of their daily wage workers? How this forced migration of Informal laborer will impact India’s informal Job Market? On average, minimum wages in Delhi are around 15K~16K /Month , that too with no job security. Then, it would be reasonable to assume that a worker might be able to save at most 3~5 K/Month (taking into account the high cost of living in metropolitan). If the state governments provide financial assistance of 3~5 k to migrant informal labor in the form of various schemes. In the post-COVID-19 world, this might lead to the scarcity of labor in the market for a short period. How? Since various state governments announced some support in the for
